Volunteer With Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the first annual Peoria Pridefest. Thanks to volunteers like you we will make this a festival to remember!


Here are the roles we are looking to fill: 

  • Set up/Tear down Assistants - directing vendors, blocking off vendor spaces, taking down the water station and grounds pick-up.

  • Greeters - directing people to the entry way and passing out pride guides/or cards that tells people how to connect to the welcome guide online. Also provide crowd control.

  • Waste Control - Working with the park district to empty trash bins, keep festival areas tidy.

  • Vendor & Entertainment Hospitality - Folks to meet needs of vendors and entertainers and to help entertainment move equipment on and off stage.

  • Dispatch Assistant - Help within the dispatch office, responding to radio calls and directing those calls to appropriate staff. This position requires STRONG communication experience.

Perks of volunteering:


  • One T-Shirt to keep for all your hard work!      T-shirts must not be altered, cut, dyed, stained, or altered in any form or fashion while performing the duties of a volunteer.

  • One food ticket per shift, for use with any food vendor.

  • Water and snacks provided!

  • High-fives and THANK YOU’s from the entire Peoria Pridefest /One Voice Leadership Team! We truly appreciate all your hard work!

What should you expect when Volunteering:


  • Orientation is a REQUIREMENT. If you’re unable to attend, you are unable to volunteer.

  • Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours, with a 15-minute break.

  • Parking is not included.

  • Bring comfortable shoes for walking and standing.

  • Wear appropriate, work-related, yet comfortable clothing.

  • A secure place to store your belongings will not be available. Please do not bring excessive items along during your shift.
