Peoria Proud Committees & Volunteer Pools

Volunteer pools are groups of people who want to support Peoria Proud on a flexible, as-needed basis. Signing up does not commit you to projects — it simply means you’ll be contacted when your skills or interests match a need.

We currently offer three volunteer pools: Arts & Graphics Talent Pool Event Planning Volunteer Pool Day-of Event Volunteer Pool

What kinds of artists can join? Anyone! This includes drag performers, visual artists, musicians, photographers, graphic designers, writers, bakers, restaurants, unique venues, and more. Do I have to take on projects? No. You can respond only to the opportunities that align with your skillset and schedule.

What do volunteers do? Help plan, prepare, and coordinate Peoria Proud events. You may choose to help with: Theme & décor Vendor coordination Logistics Programming Sponsorship outreach Committee work for specific events Commitment? Totally flexible — join committees for events that interest you.

What will I be asked to do? Day-of volunteers support events through tasks like: Set-up & tear-down Merch tables Registration & check-in Vendor assistance Guest support General operations Accessibility support Floating/extra hands Commitment? Only for the events you choose to help with.
