Peoria Proud Committees & Volunteer Pools

Volunteering with Peoria Proud
What are the Advisory Committees?
These bi-monthly meetings are designed for community input and conversation. They exist to help Peoria Proud understand the needs of communities we serve more deeply.
The three committees are:
BIPOC & Immigration Advisory Committee
Transgender & GNC Advisory Committee
Accessibility Advisory Committee
What’s the commitment level?
Totally flexible. You can attend once, occasionally, or every meeting. There is no required ongoing participation unless you hold a leadership role (Co-chair or Secretary).
What do the Advisory Committees do?
Committee members share lived experiences, identify community needs, and inform Peoria Proud on what actions are necessary. Peoria Proud listens first and acts second — advisory committees guide that process
Can I join more than one advisory committee?
Yes! You may participate in as many as you’d like.
