Throughout the year, we provide education through InQueery, advocate for our community, host events and programs, and create opportunities for people to come together.
At Pride, nearly 200 volunteers show up to make our work possible. But once Pride is over, staying involved hasn’t always been as clear.
Membership creates that structure.
It gives people a place to stay connected, build relationships, volunteer, join committees, share their experiences and talents, and grow into leadership if they choose.
Our goal is also to build a Peoria Proud that better reflects the community we serve — across race, religion, socioeconomic background, age, identity, education, and lived experience.
Peoria Proud isn’t changing what we do. We’re creating more ways for people to be part of it.
