As Members of Peoria Proud we support or mission by this Promise
As a member of Peoria Proud, I promise to help advance equity and belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals throughout the Greater Peoria Area.
I will support Peoria Proud’s mission through advocacy, education, and social outreach, contributing my voice, time, and talents in the ways I am able.
I will help create a community where people feel seen, welcomed, respected, and valued. I will listen to the experiences of others, treat people with dignity and kindness, and work alongside my fellow members to strengthen visibility, connection, and opportunity.
I will act with integrity, honor the trust placed in me as a member, and represent Peoria Proud in a way that reflects our mission and values.
I believe Equality Plays in Peoria when we turn our values into action—when we advocate, educate, serve, listen, and stand together.
I understand that membership is more than a title. It is a commitment to belong, participate, and serve. I am not expected to do everything, but I promise to do something to help build a stronger, more inclusive Greater Peoria for all.
